Help

Is this just something Cleves are doing?
No, it is a nationwide initiative - more information about it can be found here. https://100wc.net/

Can anyone take part?
Yes the challenge is open to anyone is Years 3,4,5 and 6. You never know, even teachers and staff may join in.

How do I submit my piece of writing?
Simply email it to 100words@cleves.co.uk and we will add your writing to the site. Make sure you put your name and class on the email as well as a title for your work.

Are there prizes?
Yes! House points will be awarded to the best pieces of work and there will be one weekly winner which will be announced on the weekly school radio show. They will receive a £5 book voucher.

Does anyone read my work?
Yes hopefully! Other pupils at Cleves will read your writing as well as school staff and other people from around the world as the website grows. They may even comment on your work so keep checking back!

Can I write about anything?
Yes but you must include the words in the prompt or write about the picture. Remember you only have 100 words!

When does a new prompt become available?
Normally a prompt lasts for a week. We will try and post it on a Sunday morning and you have until the following Saturday to email your piece of work.

Where can I get further help?
Email 100words@cleves.co.uk and someone from school will reply to your email as soon as possible.
